Long hair cuts are considered a luxury to many people. In fact, some individuals have trouble growing their hair past a certain length. This may be because your body is lacking certain vitamins and minerals that are needed for long healthy hair; you may be trimming it too often; or you’ve abused your hair too much over the years, and stunted it’s growth rate for a while – but it will eventually grow healthy hair again once the abusive chemicals and treatments are gone.
The answer for long healthy hair is to cut off all abusive chemicals and treatments that have been hurting your hair over the years (this will also help those with symptoms of frizz, dryness, split-ends, breakage, etc.).
A lot of people, especially celebrities, get hair extensions. This is the “cheater’s” way of getting long hair fast! What they don’t realize is that it causes your hair to break, among other things. But, hair extensions have become a lot more affordable now, and it doesn’t take much time to have it done.
“After you have hair extensions, it is very important that you take care of them properly. Some methods will require the use of special shampoos and styling appliances. There may be recommendations from your stylist in reference to sleeping, brushing, swimming, shampooing and styling your hair extensions. Regular maintenance is also an important step to keep the hair healthy and looking good. Long hair requires work. So make plans to put your time in. As well as your money!” - listen-debor*
